Halftime Report

Overall, a  lame first half. The penalty negating Seattle's touchdown was a joke, and if Big Ben really crossed the plane with his 'touchdown' Amelia Earheart will land any minute now. . .

In the NFL, the refs seem to favor whoever is the darling of the fans.

And as for the Rolling Stones - lordy, who's going to play SuperBowl forty-one, Scott Joplin? Didya notice that while the folks up by the stage were into the band (and no doubt plants), no one  in the stands seemed to give a rip.

The second half just started and the Steelers scored a big TD . . shame. The game's not over, but it serves as a  reminder that the good guy doesn't always win the day . .

I still say/hope/pray Seattle will pull it off. Stay tuned.

HA! And did you notice all kids near the stand? What is up with that. They figured the older ones could not maintain their excitement. Half those kids probably do not know who the Rolling Stones are! Love the comment Mick said that he could have played the first Super Bowl! HA!

They are getting pretty lame...no fireworks or fun stuff. Think they are going for rock bands that won't be a problem like women (Janet. Brittney etc). I was hoping Mick my unzip his pants or something to make it fun! HA!

Maybe we should get some comedian out there! Of course someone might go off & complain about the President...for shame...and you don't want drunk people all upset now do we...then again Mr. Basketball's wife may not be there! HA! They should have done something to preview the Olympics. Have all the Olympic Athletes on the stage for a moment playing some hopeful song from Josh Groban or something. Show them on the big screen with a great moment of why they are going to the Olympics. Maybe next to an older Olympian & show them theirs to inspire the new ones? Even if ABC is not doing the Olympics (?) they still should be patriotic & do it!

They could have some other players that didn't get to go to the Superbowl be out there & work with some "winners" (kids & adults) and have some contest etc.

So much more they could do!  And were are all the awesome commercials....pretty lame so far...except the Theft Control on the phone one I like that! HA!
