Jack Donaghy was having problems getting Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) to perform on camera so he asked another actress for advice. She told him to "lie to her, coddle her, protect her from the real world."  Jack's response? "I get it! I'll treat her like the New York Times treats its readers"
