Huckleberry at 4 months old
Some days are harder then others, I’m not gonna lie, but berry boi is doing well and growing FAST! Walks way better on a leash now. Not nearly as scared.
Loves eating the cat food instead of his own and still too many accidents resulting in us crating him at night (seems to be able to hold it when it’s HIS floor he’s pooping/peeing on. Lol).

Ouch
Huckleberry got loose and headed straight for our busy street. During the pursuit I slipped on mud and went crashing down on my bad hip, then somehow also managed to skin the opposite knee - the first time I've done that in probably 35 years - and bang up my arm. Everything hurts like hell. Its gonna be a long night.

Oh No! A Chewer!
Ugh, first puppy damage. Last time I saw tooth marks on wood like this was when LuLu ate her crib almost 16 years ago
They had plastic teething strips to attach to the crib that helped. I don’t think there are teeth protectors for the front of fireplacesSomeone is definitely a chewer. And a scrunchie collector lol

Huckleberry
If you haven't met him already, here's our new doggo Huckleberry, lounging in Smiley's arms late last week.

Another Pitbull Attack
Cue all the people who will say it's the training, not the breed. I'm sure this woman thought the same. So did all the other victims. Enough already.

Prudence
Prudence, the best dang dog that ever walked the Earth, IMHO. Why his original owner, my Uncle Ken named his un-neutered male dog "Prudence" remains a mystery, but I adored him until he passed away. Scratch that - I *still* adore him.

He Could Have Been Our Doggo
Although I do not favor dogs, and consider them far inferior to cats, I am smitten with one that is available and have failed to convince Lisa it is worth at least a looksie. As she is smarter than me, she continues to say no. As I am more obnoxious and persistent than her, I continue to ask. It's quite the merry go-round, minus the "merry" bit.
FYI, the dog in discussion.
Update The dog is gone, adopted into another family. Lisa wins. NEVER let her convince you she doesn't wield a fair share of influence here, or that I "always" get my way. #unhappy #pissy

Puzzles the Reading Dog
This is my second visit to Puzzles, the reading dog. Smiley enjoyed it very much. This dog is so gentle and sweet. - Grandma Jeanne
