The not-so dreaded Bifocals
My new (and first) bifocals. I'm a little disappointed that the switch was eezy-peezy; everyone I asked claimed there was at least some difficulty getting used to them. Me? I tried them on and promptly asked the technician if they'd screwed up and given me standard lenses. I guess when you're practically perfect in every way, everything is easier.

Junie gets glasses! 10-21-16
Junie got some bad news at the optometrist this month. From perfect vision last year, to an entire point drop in one eye this time around, necessitating a pair of glasses.
She was not amused.
But, by the time they arrived, she seemed eager for them. I drove her to pick them up.
And to help ease the transition, bought her this classy carrying case, and a cleaning cloth and liquid cleaner.
Alas, she loved it so much she took the case everywhere, including to Grandma's, and during her time with her she left it behind at a KFC and it was stolen.
Two days after I bought it.
C'est la vie. I've already inquired about ordering another, but we'll see if she even continues to show interest. It's not really a necessity, and she's doing fine without it.

Broken Glasses
Slipped, glasses flew, and then to top it off I stepped right on top of them dammitttt!! And when Dan broke his last winter he couldn't get them fixed right away because our optomologist had a snow day! So good chance that will happen for me tomorrow....and there is no fixing these, they are in itty bitty pieces, ugh. Hoping to find an old pair to wear but for now I'm an inch from the screen...ugh.... - Lisa
