Football, Flea (Markets) and Free (books)

So our Saturday was jam packed. After some early morning errands we headed over to Thomas More High School, where my cousin's son Isaiah was practicing football - he's #49 - on his 14th birthday no less!

Then  we visited a flea market in the basement of a church. We didn't buy much - not even this Babe Ruth autobiography I remember from high school - but it was fun to look around.

Afterwards we headed down to Junie's high school to stock the Free Little Library, where someone came up and took a pair of books before we even pulled away from the curb!

There was much more to come before the day was through . . .

Mindy and Isaiah Visit

I overdid it with the hip yesterday, even though all I really did was sit. So Lisa let me sleep in, waking me as Mindy and Isaiah were winding up their visit! (Sorry I looked like poop. I felt like it too)

A Visit from Mindy

Mindy and Isaiah are over for dinner. Lisa made sloppy joes and wonderful homemade fries, and I ate far far too much.

Isaiah and I had dinner at  [Team Slap's] house 🏠 I had such a great time and always love seeing the kids... Especially my God daughter [LuLu] who is growing WAY TO FAST! times like today remind me of when I was younger and practically spending the summer with Dan and Lisa n helping n playing with the kids... I miss it...😩 I know its Friday, but today was my throw bak Thursday lol...😊😃

An Indoor Picnic

Having a picnic dinner indoors (courtesy of the 90 deg weather), with the family, Lisa's friend Nancy, my cousin Mindy and her son Isaiah. I just took the little guy for a walk. No babee can resist a piggy back ride on the shoulders of greatness. 🙂
