YaYa's taking some heat on Facebook for recognizing Floyd Mayweather's greatness, an opinion she developed by watching him fight, not because I'm a fan. Good on her! Keep preaching the truth girl!

Did I mention Mayweather won?

Last night I had a GREAT time with Alex Q and company, and hope to visit again soon. At the same time Lisa had a blast hanging with her stepsister Jane and her husband Dan.

Oh - and some guy named Mayweather won \. Just in case you hadn't heard. Lol

Mayweather v Pacquiao

It's about time this fight happened. And don't count me as some doofus that thought Floyd was waiting to "age out" Pacquiao - Mayweather's the elder of the two for Pete's sake!
I'm looking forward to this! update: Floyd WINS! Judges score it 118-110. 116-112, 116-112. As I posted on Twitter BEFORE the announcement, I scored it 118-110. I know my boxing lol. #TMT #undefeated

Lu has an opinion on Mayweather

LuLu came home from a sleepover this morning and told me she'd watched the Mayweather fight with her friend. That made me ecstatic - what a kid! She then mentioned that she thought Floyd "got away with a lot of stuff", echoing the bull that the announcing crew spewed. *That* made me annoyed again at their jibber-jabber. I have the good fortune to have a copy of the Ali-Wepner fight stripped of the broadcast track (it has nothing but the noise of the crowd and the fight). Oh, if that could be the case for most bouts . . .

My Boxing Predictions

I'm excited to enjoy two great weekends of boxing! Klitschko defends his heavyweight title this weekend, while Floyd Mayweather takes the stage May 3rd. My money's on both of them retaining their belts. Meanwhile I had the pleasure to watch another Errol Spence Jr fight today, and I continue to predict big things for his future. He's got power, talent, an Olympic pedigree, and a calm, professional demeanor. He's a joy to watch.

Mayweather-Canelo

Oooeee, I can't wait for the Mayweather-Canelo bout tonight! I wish I wasn't working - and had the $ for the pay per view - so I could watch it live. I hope Floyd puts that ginger on the canvas, but no matter how he does it, Mayweather walks out 45-0.
