Flat Chested with a Mullet????

I've agreed to a free haircut on Thursday of this week. A "wolf cut". Then the following Wednesday a surgeon takes my breasts down 8 sizes. So by Thursday of next week I'll be flat chested with a mullet...but it's got a cool new name for a mullet so it's gonna be all good right? RIGHT? These before and after pics are gonna be something else lol -  Lisa

My Day

Busy day. I had class in the morning, got a haircut, emptied the mower of gas and stored it and the patio furniture, grill, etc for the winter, prepped and started the snowblower, went grocery shopping, stopped at the library, picked YaYa up from school, visited my parents, and made dinner. All while looking marvelous.

Smiley Dyes his Hair

After the eggs and before the movie, Smiley asked to dye his hair jet black, and we passed the task on to Lulu, our resident hair expert. I like the results, and so does he.

LuLu's new hair color

Lisa dyed Olivia's hair blue over the weekend (although it turned out blueish-green). I'll try and post pics tonight.
It looks good, but personally I don't care for it.

But I think that's partially the point.

update: Here's a pic of LuLu and her new hair color, courtesy of my mother-in-law

Bahama Style

YaYa's new do. Her sisters have them too, but apparently they didn't "borrow" my phone for a selfie like their sister.

School Picture Day

Lisa and I are trying to get out of here and get to an appointment, but today is school picture day and Lisa is trying to get the girls' hair ready.

Unfortunately, Lu washed out a nights worth of curls and wasted an hour of Lisa's time, so for the first time in years I've tried to step up and do one of their hair. In the end Lu is going to have to wear her hair down, and there are already tears, plus Junie is whining about her (beautiful) 'do . . . sigh. Meanwhile Smiley is chilling on the couch watching the Thrilla in Manilla, which I'd put on before they got up. Lucky him.

Laura's Family Hair Care

-You know that great $5 haircut place on Greenfield in West Allis? They've opened another location in Milwaukee, at 2018 W Layton Ave. Same quality, same low price. "Laura's Family Hair Care" open M-Sat from 9-6. :)

A So So Day

With Lisa at work i wasted an hour waiting at a hair cutting place, then had to leave (or felt I had to leave) when the kids came home sooner than I expected. There are moments - just moments mind you - when I hate my life.

Update: I've been home with Smiley for a half hour now and just noticed a deep dark shiner on his right eye. (he spent the weekend at Grandma's). He traces the black eye to a dust-up with Lu on Thursday before dance, but if so I can't blame her either; I saw the argument, and the injury was an accident.

Two pics of Junie to lighten the mood:

Smiley and the "Faux-Hawk"

Smiley & I went for a haircut Thurs evening, and he asked me if he could get a mohawk. I said no and had him ask Lisa. To my shock, she told him it was OK. In the end he and I agreed on a 'faux-hawk' - closely cropped hair on the sides, w/ the hair on top blended and sculpted into a mohawk. He loves it.

Hair Dye

Lisa's mildly p.o.'d at me (what a novelty, eh?) because she dyed her hair a deep, dark red at my request. Uh, a) she doesn't listen to me about anything else, so y start now? b) it's not *half* as dark as I had hoped, so it's not like she 'caved' to my demands c) it looks hot against her pale skin. C'mon - I work hard to look THIS freakin' hot for her, it's only fair she returns the favor. ;)
