Aaron Rodgers is Traded to the Jets

Anyone who is ungrateful for the two decades of greatness Aaron Rodgers gave the Packers, anyone who wishes ill of his future playing career, anyone who has turned their back on him, is a FOOL.

I know, I'm a hypocrite. I ripped Favre, and although, to be fair, his parting was more acrimonious, I now concede it was immature of me. I so very much wanted Aaron to succeed that I felt I *also* had to bash his predecessor.

Brett, I apologize - but not for whatever I said while you were a Viking. That was just wrong of you.

Good luck Aaron! You'll be missed!

The End

That was a listless,  lousy way to end an emotional roller coaster of a season.

Sigh.

Road Trip

I accompanied Lisa on a trip to check in on the status of some foreign exchange students that are part of the company Dem and Rebeca travel with; it was a relaxing time with my lady (even if the Packers chocked against the Giants in London, a game I listened to en route)

On Online Packers "fans"

Packers fans - the online version - are embarrassingly naive in general and ignorant of the game and the business behind it. Not to mention they write like they were held back 3x in second grade. You are, in part, representing me when you speak, so, ummmm - DON'T.

RIP Ted Thompson,  architect of a Packers ring and the man who drafted Aaron Rodgers.

Forrest Gregg

He was one of Vince Lombardi's favorite players. He was a first ballot Hall of Famer. He coached the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance. It's a heck of a resume. But trustfully, what I remember of him are some dim recollections of him being named head coach of the Packers in the 80's, and a press conference where he announced his departure from the same.

RIP Packer. RIP.
