Sendik's
Spending the afternoon taking Lisa's step-mom on errands. Currently outside Sendik's. I refuse to go in and join them. Any grocery store that can afford wall to wall carpeting is too Ritchie Rich to want me as a customer.

The Interview
Lisa and I just finished watching the infamous "The Interview". I thought it was LOL and downright hilarious at times; Lisa liked it but was less enthusiastic. Was it worth an international incident? Maybe not, but once our liberties were threatened it sure as heck was worth defending. Rent the movie, and Go America!
The Skeleton Twins
Tonight we watched "The Skeleton Twins", a 'comedy' about serial infidelity, parental death, multiple suicide attempts, an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor, and marital dysfunction. It was a real hoot /s
Don't rent it.

You've Got Mail
Watching "You've Got Mail". The technology is dated, but the story is still charming.

Twilight Sparkle Fashion
After the great Packers victory we went to Kmart and completed the one and only exchange/return of our Christmas season: Junie's Twilight Sparkle sweatshirt was too small and was exchanged for a Rainbow Dash version in 10-12.

Billy Martin Revisited
RIP Billy Martin, gone 25 years today. You may not have been the greatest Yankee, but you were the proudest. #pinstripes

Yikes
This is what the outlet behind the tv looked like when i came home from work Friday. The surge protector that was plugged into it was also blackened and partially melted, but did its job and protected my electronics. After a miserable day without TV, Socialist came over to replace it Saturday, in the process teaching me how to do it myself in the future.
Squaaash?
"Squash!??" Here's the great gift Mike St gave me for Christmas. Thomas G and Justin B were also in the gift-giving mood, and I thank them all. :)

Pathetic
Nothing is more pathetic than one Republican, usually a right wing conservative, slamming another as a RINO ("Republican in name only"). That acronym should be worn with pride. You know who was labeled a RINO? Eisenhower, Dewey, Nixon, Rockefeller, Ford, Connolly, Romney (George and Mitt), Bush 41 and 43, and just about every member of my party that was worth a damn. To paraphrase a frustrated Nixon, nothing is more cannibalistic than some factions of the GOP. #RINO
