This Easter morning Team Slap donated a flock of ducks to a family in need somewhere on the globe through Heifer International. The eggs, down, fertilizer, and income stream it provides will be a hand up, not a hand out, and hopefully improve their lives. There are, of course, pics of everyone from this Easter morning, but some folk deemed themselves not camera ready so early in the morn.

Boss: I'm in such a good mood tonight. And there's nothing either of you can do to change that. 

Co-worker: That's sounds like a challenge. 

 Me: Sure does. Give us an hour. We can ruin anyone's happiness.

The Fate of the Furious

To finish off the day LuLu, Tre, and Smiley joined me in seeing the 8th installment of the greatest theatrical franchise in history! It wasn't as emotional as 7 - I didn't tear up - but the action, as expected, was nonstop and over the top. Plus, for all those whining about the lack of race time in recent entries: the movie starts with the best race of the series. There's plenty of Nos too!

The End of the 19th Century Happened . . . . TODAY

With the passing of the world's oldest woman today, it appears that no one from the 19th century is left on this Earth, and that the history of that era is now complete.

Egg Dyeing 2017 - pt 2 Cookie Decorating!

After the eggs Lisa brought out a cookie decorating kit and the kids went at it. BTW, YaYa was working and thus missed the day's events, breaking both tradition and her father's heart LOL

Easter Egg Dyeing 2017

Team Slap's 20th annual Easter Egg Dyeing took place this afternoon. While the kids finished up, Tracy and I walked to Cousins Subs to get everyone tuna subs for lunch.

Apparently, in my junior year of high school I took a Business Law class and earned an A and 5 credit hours (whatever that was). I assure you, I don't have even the flimsiest memory of any such event. I also took Oceanography and notched a B. Long story short: apparently a doppleganger took a bunch of classes for me at Pius.
