A Clear Conflict of Interest
I was running an errand on the west side when I saw a very large campaign sign for Biden-Harris. No problem there, but then I saw the building it stood in front of: the office for the USPS letter carriers union. I do not care which side of the aisle you stand on - if you're even moderately concerned with having a fair election, it MUST trouble you that the personnel charged with transporting and delivering millions of ballots are openly endorsing a candidate running in that very election. I don't discount the ethics of individual employees of USPS, but this is the same organization that warns you - their customer! - not to entrust cash within the mail their employees handle!

Be Careful Out There
There's a bad accident on westbound 94 just east of Miller Park. An SUV is flipped on its driver's side, and its roof appears to have been cut away by firefighters to pull out the occupants. As i drove by going east, they were strapping a man to a wooden board for transport. #prayers

A Sweet Gesture
Most nights one of the kids, usually LK, writes a note and puts it in my lunch. No such note yesterday, but when I got off work this was left on my dash. Half an hour away from home, and the kids still thought to drive by my work and suprise me with a message. I gotta admit, I was touched.
A Daytime Racoon
I just saw an adult raccoon a block east of my house. It was cute, for a rodent, but they're nocturnal, so I wasn't expecting to see one after sunrise.

Enough with the Ads
Honestly, no one is unaware of the election. No one. If you need 10k reminders from the media, your Hollywood elite, and politicians to go out and vote . . . Well, I won't interfere with your right to do so, but I seriously doubt your contribution to the process is a plus for anyone.

On Abortion
It’s crazy how hung up people are on abortion because it’s a “life” when those very same people see no problem with charging a living breathing child for lunch and support withholding lunch without payment🥴 crazy how America’s children don’t seem to matter after birth. - LuLu

First Day of School 2020
In our experience, virtual learning in the time of Covid was a mess, and of limited value. So when my 15 year old son asked to leave his beloved high school if it meant he could go in person elsewhere, we listened. Today the two youngest started at a suburban school. My eighth grader is bitter A.H. at the move and convinced we are trying to kill her with Covid, but that's not our ONLY reason ;) Have a great year guys!
