What an Ending!!!

I got home and urned on the radio in time to catch Joe Ross come in and get the last out of the top of the 7th.  The Brewers went quietly in the bottom half,  as did the Mets in the top of the 8th. The mood was somber, the tension high,  and then .... and THEN!

Jackson Chourio, all of twenty years old, hit his second home run to tie the game,  completely changing the mood of the crowd and the tone of the contest. The last player to hit two game tying home runs in a postseason game? Babe Ruth in game 4 of the 1928 World Series.

A few batters later Garrett Mitchell,  who was inserted as a pinch runner in the 6th, hit a game winning two run blast !!

Exhale.  Breathe Milwaukee.  We live to play another day.

Let's win this Brew Crew!!!!
