Am I finally getting it?

Something is very wrong. For two classes in a row I've understood the relevant estate tax law and even found myself volunteering to answer questions. On the other hand I mispronounced "grantor" (it's grant- tore), and the Professor thereafter took pains to use it properly ad nauseum, so some parts of my life remain dependable.
