Egg Dyeing 2017 - pt 2 Cookie Decorating!
After the eggs Lisa brought out a cookie decorating kit and the kids went at it. BTW, YaYa was working and thus missed the day's events, breaking both tradition and her father's heart LOL
Easter Egg Dyeing 2017
Team Slap's 20th annual Easter Egg Dyeing took place this afternoon. While the kids finished up, Tracy and I walked to Cousins Subs to get everyone tuna subs for lunch.
Apparently, in my junior year of high school I took a Business Law class and earned an A and 5 credit hours (whatever that was). I assure you, I don't have even the flimsiest memory of any such event. I also took Oceanography and notched a B. Long story short: apparently a doppleganger took a bunch of classes for me at Pius.

How to Become a Movie Extra The Hollywood Way
This book, written by Facebook friend Tom Willett, arrived in the mail yesterday. I just finished it. It has plenty of practical advice for the entertainment industry as well as a hint of the great stories he has from a career in Hollywood. I hear he's working on a book of those stories, and I look forward to reading that too.
Please, patronize this Cousins Subs!
If you've got the inclination, partake in this sale tomorrow. The owner originally had the tuna special set for Easter Sunday; I explained that a Friday deal would better entice Catholics, and he made the change. Don't make me look like a liar lol!
Aunt Mabel and Cynthia
YaYa and I took my Dad to visit my Great Aunt Mabel and my distant cousin Cynthia. Each was given an Easter wreath my Mom had Melissa Slapczynski construct. My Dad instructed me not to post any pictures on Facebook of our visit with Cynthia (she looks great, he's just a Luddite), but rest assured they exist.

Ass Backwards
Some time ago there was a discussion on a Nero Wolfe fanpage about whether or not the phrase "ass backwards" was a typo. Most people, myself included, said it was an old turn of phrase. A moment ago, firm proof of this: my law school professor just called a student's process "ass backwards."
