Smiley's 1st Big Wheel

When I got home from work Lisa was waiting with a half-assembled Hot Wheels Big Wheel for Smiley.

I have no talent whatsoever for assembling these products and normally leave it to Lis, but this one took both of us more than an hour to get together.

For much of that time Smiley was chomping at the bit and getting in the way, but boy was he happy when it was ready!

Of course, it took one hour to assemble and he played with it for all of 5 minutes before preferring to join me as I transplanted some hastas in our yard, but that's a kid for you.

  1. Mine were always more content with the boxes then the gifts in them...that's just kids.

  2. Ah, yes. Anticipation! I hope he continues to get enjoyment out of it, and that the "putting-together" wasn't the best part!

  3. he looks good on it. Bet he will have many happy hours wheeling around...we will miss our Jacqueline for doing all our "putting together" she was our champion.  Love Sybil xx

  4. Don't you worry, he'll spend plenty of time, running over things, going fast enough to change a parent's heart rate(voice of experience), to make it all worthwhile.  He looks like a pro already.

  5. I came by the title of designated builder not by choice. One Christmas my ex had to get my daughter the biggest most complex Barbie house he could find. After getting halfway through he realized half of the roof was upside down and it was missing a wall somewhere (it wasn't missing he just built it somewhere it wasn't suppose to be). I proceeded to take it apart and resemble the entire house. Sometime just before 4AM Christmas Day I finished. I think we're just better at it, i.e. we follow instructions (winks)...(Hugs)Indigo

  6. Big Wheels or the forerunner tricycle are the best things since they invented the wheel. Glad Smiley now has one. (You must have hidden the box, though, or he might never have gotten around to riding it.) Do Yaya and Lulu have vehicles? Have you got one of those dangerous (for parents) walker thingys for Lump?
