Why is it . . .
That a cell phone conversation in a public place is a thousand times more infuriating than if the offender was yakking face to face?
I agree with you. Someone talking at a diner is ok, but to talk to a cell can infuriate people.
I also feel eating a hamburger and smoking while drive is not against the law but is far more dangerous than talking on a cell which is against the law in some areas..
I think some people talk louder on the phone, they feel that they have to yell for some reason, when many of them just aren't being heard, because they aren't talking INTO the phone... the mouth phone is in their cheek or at their chin.
Can you tell, I've given this LOTS of thought!!! Yes, it IS VERY annoying!!!

Is it the rudeness factor? The sheer gall of it? I don't know, but yes, very irritating.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why it is, but I completely agree...it's annoying.
